Guadeloupe
What with a mixture of bad internet connections, using internet in cafes (with a limit of 15 mins!), anchoring out in bays for over a week and messing up my own laptop wifi connection we haven't been able to up date the blog for a couple weeks. Even the current internet connection doesn't allow our Apple email program to work!
We have 5 diary updates ready to upload.
In the meantime (using our 15 min slot!)..
It is just Les and I as crew.
We are currently in Pointe a Pitre, Guadeloupe.
Since leaving Rodney Bay in St Lucia we have been anchoring in bays at Cul du Sac Marin, Grande Case d'Arlet, Trois Ilets, Fort du France, St Pierre all on the western side of Martinique.
The other night we sailed the 100 miles from Martinique to Guardeloupe. We both realized that we missed the longer sails of over 80 miles or so. (Sad isn't it!)
We'll be here for a week or so with a rental car and sailing around the island before heading off the Antigua.
But lets hope the missing blogs will be updated by then.
(Oh, and if you are missing the map on the blog then check your own computer. This happened to my Mum's iPad the other month for some reason too whilst all the other computers worked fine. hmm..)
