Studland Bay, England

Studland is a great feature of Englands’ south Coast
Following a great week involving many jobs and visiting old and dear friends we set off for a week of sailing with my brother Peter and his wife Jean.
Studland Bay is a great first anchorage whilst crew get their sea legs.

It is just a short distance from the Solent and is a fun anchorage to boot – Studland Bay has to be one of the best quiet anchorages in Europe. It has a world recognised sandy beach, it’s a National Trust site and there are walks along a World Heritage cliff top coastal path – and there is a cool pub at just the right place ready for the end of your walk. I think we must have worn Peter and Jean out on the first day from the way everyone slept that night.

The big event was that we passed our first 1,000 miles in “Timeless”.

....The next day we set off for Guernsey
