The wind has eased a little and Bermuda Radio on our Navtex is forecasting moderate winds (10 15 knots) from the SE to SSW over the next few days. There is quite a significant swell of maybe 3 meters but with a long period.
The sky is nice and clear, sunny with just a few cotton bud clouds around.

We are making reasonable progress to Bermuda and seem to be averaging a solid 5 knots. At this rate we will be there Monday afternoon but we will try to gear to Monday morning if we can.

Les continues to dish some amazing dishes!
I think we are going to have a little more food left over than originally planned as people don’t seem to be eating as much as normal.

Lots of steering and sleeping going on!

I turned the watermaker ON just now. Not that we needed to make any but rather to keep it running at least once every few weeks and anyway there is a nice feeling knowing we always have loads of water around.
So, we have used very little fuel, we have eaten very little and now we will have as much water in the tanks when we arrive as when we left VI!

..more tomorrow,
