St. Miguel Marina

The gang’s all here! Bob D and Cathy  returned after a Christmas break at home, ready for another try at the crossing. Bob G is welcomed as a new member of the crew, he is happy to be back on board and its great to have our numbers back up to 5 for the journey ahead.  We completed many last minute tasks today;  checked out from St. Miguel Marina and passport office in Santa Cruz, returned rental car, double checked provisions and added a bit more , prepared a couple more meals, rechecked the rigging ( all ship shape) added petroleum jelly to all hatches,  rechecked all nav. lights and safety equipment.  Yes, we are ready,  excited and anxious to get going.
