The Snark on The ARC

To any folks who may still be tracking the progress
of The Snark we are now in Bequai just south of St Vincent having had a nice
week of cruising the Caribbean sun.
Bequai is a lovely place to spend a few days and
perhaps the nicest place we have been to this week. We are sad that we are
not here longer as I would really like to have visited the Tobago Cays and
Mustique. It has been a really short trip with getting there and getting
back taking up too much time. The immigrations and customs bit has been
quite time consuming as well. We have arrived just as the Bequai Regatta
is due to kick off but we will miss it. I am not sure that Coleen
and Milo would appreciate joining in the racing in any
case.
I hope we can find a little time to explore the
Caribbean again before bringing the boat back across to Europe though I do look
forward to having the boat back closer to home so we can make more use of
it. The list of fix it things is growing though at least we have a new bag
for the sails and all those newly fixed. On the down side we now have
a broken outboard (courtesy of some vandalism?) and a dodgy depth gauge.
Bye for now.
