Hi there,
Ben and Sam Robinson are crewing for me this week
on our trip from Venice down to Corfu where I will meet Coleen and MIlo.
We set of around 9am on 22nd and headed for Rovinj in Croatia (position
attached). The sailing was quite calm but we had the wind against us most
of the way if there was any and to ensure that we arrived in daylight we had to
use the engine quite a lot.
Having cleared customs in Rovinj we then
moored anchored the boat and had dinner in town. The bay was very full and
we had to anchor in rather deep water near the marina but it held OK over
night. Returning from a quick shopping trip the next morning we found the
anchor had started to drag so we made a quick exit and headed down toward
Pula.
