Hi there,

High winds at night meant a restless night at anchor ( for me my crew did not notice).  Leaving at around 7am we had another day of variable winds leaving in flat calm this morning with winds building to 13-15 Knots this afternoon (this time from astern) so a nice sail to end the day.  We anchored (or attempted to) in Ravni, which is the admin centre for the Kornati islands and consequently the place where the catch you for a transit fee (which I did not know about).

Ravni has a rather nice restaurant and moorings on the quay outside (which is run by the restaurant).  In any sort of wind this is not an anchorage where you can have much faith in the holding.  The bottom is rocky and while we did get a hold in the afternoon, we had to re set the anchor during dinner and in the end begged a mooring at the end of the pier.  The wind is gusting 25+ now and I am glad to be tied up (even with the creaking ropes).

While not fighting the anchor the swimming is great with crystal clear water, and many fancy boats using the area as their playground.

Again no WIFI so I cant send any pictures.  We hope to make it to Hvar tomorrow evening so maybe there we can share some pictures of the boat, islands etc.

off to check the weather now then bed.
