Squalls through the night and early dawn. The egret spent the night on the
foredeck and flew away as the sun rose around 06:00. A few concerns have arisen.
With all the rain we have noticed a leak at the base of the mast. The kicker
goose neck has bent 90 degrees and most worrying is a join on the main track of
the mast is breaking away and the cars will not pass. Besides that all is well.
Went for tuna pasta last night, Thai coconut chicken this evening. All the fresh
fruit and veg – apart from a few green peppers and potatoes- are gone. We have
saved a few limes for gin and tonic upon setting the anchor at Grenada. The 12th
day run is 119 NM putting us 494 NM from our destination. Cheers from
Breeze. |
