Position:  16:46.57S 151:25.17W  Anchored in Vairahi Bay

Sea Monkey is very happy to be out sailing again today in the perfect conditions of 15-20 knt trade winds in the beautiful lagoon surrounding Raiatea in the Society Islands of French Polynesia.

After getting launched again last week I have been busy working on a few jobs onboard. Tyler arrived Monday and we launched the dinghy and moved out to a mooring off the boatyard. This morning(Wednesday) we set sail and sailed around the island for lunch in bay Faaroa before sailing back to anchor in bay Vairahi for the night with its palm lined shores and views up the green mountains.

Mum, who arrived on holiday here a few days ago, gets onboard Sea Monkey tomorrow and we will stock up on some provisions from the town Uturoa and then plan to continue exploring Raiatea and Tahaa, the two main islands within this reef lagoon for the next few days.
