We came looking for white faced monkeys on the river, no luck, but what an amazing place. The two towns were not very traditional, but mostly lived in huts still and collected water for washing and drinking by canoeing up the river.  Strange though, almost everyone also had satellite dishes and cell phones.  The river was unbelievably beautiful, so peaceful and so fragrant and so full of bugs (I got eaten alive).  We only stayed here for an evening, but had two trips to the village, lots of fun.
