At 0457 this morning, we crossed the line at 30deg 22.038W. This is the first crossing for Miss Bossy and crew, and try as we might, we couldn’t see the dotted black line marking the Equator, not even a tourist point of interest sign!!!!!

Otherwise a long day, we are pushing upwind at around 5 kts into a very Southerly breeze still, despite what the weather reports would have us believe.

Hopefully wind from a better direction tomorrow, as a touch of cabin fever is spreading through the yacht, to the dulcet cries of.... ‘Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? ......
