Another steady period with 18-20kt wind from the North East. All on track, an we’ve been making good miles every day. Weather has been a little overcast, but warm. Sea state has been a tad bumpy, but long swells that are more irritating rather than uncomfortable, however it’s a small price to pay for the winds in the right direction and a quick run. We haven’t seen anyone mow since a few hours out of La Gomera, a few merchant ships on radar, but none within visible distance.

We’re around 220nm north of the Western most islands of the Cape Verde group, and will decide in the next 24hrs if we stop or not.  Haven’t had to use engines at all yet, so no real reason to stop if the winds remain favourable.
