We missed our water powered generator last
night......We had to start our diesel genny for the first time this trip to top
up the batteries.......and that just wont do.
So I put on my thinking cap and came up with a plan
on how we can get our water turbine working again. Lets use my greatest
asset.......no not my brain, my lardy arse. Yes I sat on the bent bar and used
my weight to straighten it.
Well it worked to a degree but I had to use my
second greatest asset,......my brut force and ignorance to finish it
off.
The shaft still has a slight bend in it but it
is attached to a 30m long line and any wobble will be unnoticeable by the time
it reaches the generator. And that proved correct 'cos its working
fine & dandy again and a certain 'glow' has returned back to
Malarkey.
