Hooraah. We crossed the Equator at
88:04W.
Couldn't of planned it better. The weather was
perfect.....sun shining, nice warm F3 from the West and.........on my birthday
too. Splendid.
Pictures to
come..........................................................................................................................................................................
Just North of the
Equator
Crossing the
Equator
Just South of the Equator
Tradition has it that we have turned from 'Slimy
Pollywogs' to 'Trusty Shellbacks'.
We paid homage to Neptune. I figured he was a beer
drinker like me and so I shared one with him. Probably a good idea to be in
favour with the God of the Sea......It might stand us good stead one
day...........Sounding a bit like the Ancient Mariner and we have only been at
sea for 6 days!!
Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY WALTER (Jo's Dad 85 years
young) from Jo & Trevor.
