What a stark contrast to yesterday. The steady 25
Knt winds and sunny skies have been replaced with light winds and squally
showers. The showers are too frequent and gusting upto 30+ Kts to allow us to
put up a spinaker. So we are making the best progress we can with polled
out head sails in a sloppy 'left over' sea. Frustrating to say the least
bearing in mind our progress over the last couple of days and that Barbados is
so close yet so far away (where have I heard that before?).
So to keep myself amused and the crew suitably fed,
I baked some fresh bread and rolls.
They were scrummy and I earned myself the new title
of 'Pilsbury Dough-Boy'. A little to apt for my liking. The truth hurts you
know!
