A great team effort produced a great turkey feast. We had all the trimmings. Champagne to start, roast turkey, s&o stuffing, 'freshish' veg and xmas pud to finish. Mind you we had to wait another 4 hours to make enough room to fit the pud in. We were well stuffed. All we needed was an open log fire and 'The Wizard of Oz' on the box and it would have been just like home, 'Toto'.
The rest of the day was spent telling stories, drinking more wine and falling asleep in the shade of the spinaker. All in all a damn fine day, never to be repeated and never to be forgotten.

We getting into a daily sail setting routine. Spinaker by day, white sails by night. The spinaker gives more drive, speed and produces a more comfotable ride (according to the expert on these matters, Jo) but the white sails are easier to deal with at night should the shit hit the fan.
Shaun had the most interesting watch so far. For the first time since day 2, we saw another vessel. It was a small coaster that was intent on having a close look at us. He obviously didnt like what he saw (a bunch of grzzled blokes with scurvy or worse) and took a sharp exit stage right.

More tomorrow if we are spared.
