After light & fickle winds to start, Nor'easterlies have set in with avengence. We got the geneker down last night just befor the wind reached force 5 gusting to 30 kts. It was a lively night, it continued into today and is forecast to stay with us for the next few days.
The sea has got pretty sloppy and we have slowed the boat to about 7 knts to make it more comfortable. Even so it is not easy to sleep. Shaun has started to hear voices in his head through sleep deprivation. Lets hope he doesnt turn into some crazed axe murderer or something.
The SSB radio is working well and comunications with other boats is good. 'Adonde' suffered a bit in the light winds at the start but she is going well now, albeit 60M behind. They seriously loaded the boat with salamies and all kinds of cured meats before leaving, which probably has a lot to do with their peformance.
Things are settling down nicely on board and Barbados is getting closer by the minute.
