Tuesday 2nd September. After leaving Porto Cristo on 1st September, we anchored in Cala S’Ansa de’s Setri for a swim and lunch stop. With turquoise warm water in a setting of undeveloped natural beauty, we had the bay to ourselves, apart from a couple of lads who had braved the cliffs and rocks to go skinny dipping together - we had obviously disturbed their idyll!! Arrived at Porto Cristo and took up one of their new buoys. However we found that we couldn’t lift it at all to thread a rope through so were grateful when a marinero in a rib came and threaded our rope for us. The first time we came here the buoys cost €6 a night, now they are €24, having outsourced to the local yacht club, but at least they are now maintained and good quality fittings have been used.
