Before leaving the Islas de Cabrera, we sought
permission to walk the 10km or so to Punta de N'Ensiola. It was a warm and sunny
day and the walk was spectacular. The photos that follow hardly due it
justice.

Our next stop after Cabrera was Porto Colum, an
attractive bay where we stopped on the last available mooring buoy. Our next
door neighbour was unusual in that they not only had a cat but also a hawk on
board!! Needless to say we were not bothered by seagulls during our
visit.

Our next stop was Porto Cristo, which brought
back memories of 40 years ago. We had not intended to visit the Caves of Drach
(dragon) but, as we were here, we did and we were very glad we did. It is
spectacular and well worth visiting if in the area. Unfortunately, we were not
able to take photos of the inside of the caves.
Proof that we were there (Japonese
style)
The marina at Porto Cristo was expensive - even in
early May, so we took full advantage of showers and other facilities, but not
the swimming pool which had yet to warm up.
