The trip to Sines on 20th June was in light airs
and was a mixture of using the cruising chute or using engine. In the evening we
had an impromptu pontoon party, which expanded as those who used sails for the
whole distance came in during the late evening.
On the following morning we had a civic reception
at the local fort which was the birthplace of Vasco da Gama.
