Mojo 2

Over the past 24 hours we have smashed our record
distance in one day for Mojo 2. This morning we are 35NM from Aruba
and yesterday covered a massive 187NM.
We had a 14-15 knot breeze blow at right angles, or
just behind, to our port side for most of the time and we are still making
around 8 knots as we approach port.
The only down side was that we were clobbered by a
nasty storm system that we could not avoid at around 5AM. Lightning, torrential
rain and 37 knots winds, this thing had the lot. At one point we could not see
because of the rain bouncing off the saloon roof. The first time since we left
La Rochelle that I wished I was somewhere else!!
We are currently passing Curacao and its outline is
clearly visible on the horizon.
We are looking good to enter Barcadera Harbour at
around 3.30PM.
Have to go now. Sleep is calling and my battery is
about to run out.
Andrew.
