  over Bungle Bungles in the Kimberleys 
   These
  strange striated formations have been caused by the strong wind erosion  whistling
  around the sandstone rocks       
     
 
 The
  striations are caused by algae protecting the softer rock in the original
  sediment layers   
 Streams
  which become ranging torrents slow out of this eroded plateau during the wet 
 The
  wind erodes the plateau giving a wave formation, as if eroded by The
  sea as it crashes on the shore     |
