We are still on voyage to Porto Santo - the winds for the last 24 hours have
been light and consequently we only did 111 miles in the last 24 hours.
This was partly because the winds were light, and partly because we couldn't
stir ourselves to make her go faster! It's quite exhausting suddenly doing
tasks on a rolling platform - think about a waltzer on Blackpool Pleasure
Beach! However, we have suddenly had a spurt of enthusiasm, put up the
cruising chute,(a big colourful sail) and now we are doing 8.3 knots.
We have done 413 miles since Gibraltar, and 162 miles to go to Porto Santo.
Will we make it there tomorrow??? Watch this space...
