Again bay pretty full but a nice spot as we remembered. We put the dinghy in and went ashore for a wander and to see if anything had changed but very little . Following a walk up to the castle we then went and had a beer and tapas in the small pub/cafe. Whilst up at the castle another phone call to Oyster in Palma to report the problem and hopefully get someone to look at it once we were back as needed for racing the following week.
Having spoken to Oyster and David feeling more confident that they would be able to sort the mainsail we decided to stay a second night again we had to book online but managed. There were a few jobs to be done on board and we needed to chill! Job 1 was changing the motor on the front heads Job 2 changing the sensor on the holding tank
The motor for the heads I had brought out in my luggage. Once these jobs had been done we decided to go fora snorkel in an area for snorkelling but it wasn’t that impressive apart from one very pretty small white jellyfish!
We had thought we’d have another night back at anchor on the mainland before heading to RCNP pontoon Palma but as strong westerly swell which would have meant an uncomfortable night at anchor we headed straight back to Palma the next day.
