Sciacca as we came in tonight.
We’ve motored all day today having left Licata Just before 9 this morning and getting here at 4.30 just as the sun going down but creating a beautiful light over this interesting looking town. This is a busy fishing port with a few yachts in here but looks like a good place to explore.
As we left the harbour this morning 2 dolphins were playing In the entrance and flat calm .
The sea has been an amazing turqoise colour all day no other yachts out, a few fishing boats but apart from the engine noise very peaceful travelling down the coast with different scenery along the way. We past Agrigento where we had visited the other day but without binoculars very difficult to see the temples ( I will come back to our trip there from Ragusa) against the backdrop of a very built up town on the ridge behind.
Agrigento
The coastline was low lying cliffs and also some good looking beaches and as we got further west inland became much hillier too. So an interesting day geologically. 2 shorter days to follow and we should reach Marsala on Saturday
