Leaving for The Canaries

The plan is to head south to within 50-100 miles of the African Coast where hopefully we shall find some northerly wind. We hope to head straight for The Canaries but Africa is there if we need fuel.
We not sure how long it's going to take but we could be at sea for up to a week.
I 'm not sure whether I will manage to blog - will try but communication between phone/iPad/computer and Satellite Phone is not guaranteed as we/ I have been having problems with settings. Need a computer/apple geek on board. Something to be sorted once we are back and before the next stage.
