Well we are still in St George Bermuda but we are ready to go!!!!

The new shroud turned up and fitted!  Which was a big step up from last week when we had one that was 10” to short!!  It has been fitted and the rig checked, we also refitted the repaired jib, did the last shopping although the benefit of going to the big super market (about size of Tesco’s local) was some what negated by finding taxis charge for each bag of shopping you have!

So 2200 and we are finally having a couple of piza for supper in prep for a 0600 start.  Roy has found his way round the boat and was pleased to see The Saltire on our port signal halyard.  Rory left at 0700 this morning and may just be on his way back over the Atlantic, having had to go to the US first.

Skipper has a new “Seadog” teeshirt and the boat has a new “Kettle”, which only cost $9 rather than the $90 they wanted in the hardware shop!  Our Fishermen have also bought a new “lure” which they hope will work its magic....!

Weather has been rubbish today with driving rain for several hours, it was so bad around lunch time that even if the shroud had arrived then we doubt it could have been fitted.  We want some better weather for tomorrow.

So tomorrow we have an early start to go fuel and then be at customs for 0800 to “clear”, Azores here we come.
