Good evening from Ceilidh, we have had a good day, even with the light
winds and still being close hauled (are there other points of sail??) we have
sailed 145 NM which has got us 105 NM closer to Horta. We expect to be
there around mid day 22 May and be joined by our new crew member.
We have been having a great debate as to when we should tack and try to go
south, the chances are that by the time you read this we will be on a Port
Tack. Hope to see the lights of Flores in the early hours. Have just
been asked about phone signal!!
One thing that we did not mention fro a few nights back was the effect
Dolphins have on the phosphorescence, at night it is like watching something
from Avatar as they pass us. They leave green trails in the water and you
can see the bio-luminescence on them as well!
We have a cheese monster (mouse) on board, nominations on a postcard (or
e-mail)
