Happy birthday Granny!

 

We’re here – in  Scarborough! The capital of Tobago, that is, not the other one.

 

It was a squally night with a lot of rolling so no one got much sleep. There was even a couple of decent sized rain showers which on any other night would have brought forth the crew for a deck bath but not tonight since we hope to replenish our stock of fresh water (of which there are only a few cupfuls left) so we can all have the first proper shower for a month!

 

This is the end of our little odyssey, Granny. I hope you enjoyed the telling of it and are now enjoying the

retelling of it to family and friends reunited and, knowing you, to all your new found friends. We all love you and miss you and hope that you can now rest in peace properly knowing that we didn’t drown en route, fall to pirates, yellow fever, dehydrate or ...

 

A BIG thank you to Andrew and Cat for being our base man and girl, poised at any time to call the coast guard if we ever  missed a position report. I hope we didn’t give you too many anxious moments.
