Rhapsode
Mon 19 Nov 2012 15:31
Blue seas and blue sky. Dolphins and flying fish, Gentle trade winds. We’re thinking of going in to Tobago to stock up on water, fruit and other essentials and then going back again! Or maybe just to go out to sea and sail round and round in circles for a while. As long as we have fresh water – not so much for drinking but if the chicas don’t get to wash their hair properly (and it would be nice to have sweet smelling girls on board again) there would be mutiny. Of course the male contingent is also in need of a wash and brush up. I can peel the layers of grime off me. When we all are cleaned up I suppose that we will be several shades lighter!

As things are we’ll arrive sometime tomorrow morning. I wonder whether the steel bands, the colourful streets, a meal out, etc. will turn us back into land lubbers?

Probably.

P.S. Liz and Michaela got very excited last night when they saw a rain cloud just ahead. But by the time the boat and the cloud met up there was only six drops of rain left in it. Now that’s a definition of disappointment!!
