Today started off pretty well, with 15knts of wind and we were steaming along, and eventually made up some ground over the rest of the fleet.

During the early hours the wind had picked up to 25knts then we heard a call of Sara saying that the spinnaker in dragging in the water, as we stowed it on the guardrail on the starboard side, after an hour of trying to retrieve the spinnaker Gareth & Dez finally got it back onboard, the afternoon wasn’t that pleasant either with winds gusting 30knts and made sailing very uncomfortable with swells of around 4-5mtrs with big squalls & the weather isn’t forecasted to drop for tomorrow.
