Adventure
The crew, Chris and Neil, arrived with Kay. Following
Sunday lunch at the Fisherman's arms we said goodbye to Kay.
26/06/2023 Leaving Plymouth
After a hectic morning doing last minute jobs, filling
with water and fuel, we slipped unceremoniously through the Sutton Harbour lock
for the last time, bound for points South on our big adventure! The weather had
other ideas, and with wind on the nose we motored into winds of F5/6 and the
associated sea. Neil helmed for most of the way to distract him from his sea
sickness, which proved to be successful. On arrival, with Chris having mastered
the Hook and Moor, we lost no time in heading ashore to the Lugger where we
enjoyed a couple of pints of Hicks with our evening
meal.
