Rounded Ushant at about 5am this morning and now
heading straight across Biscay SW to La Coruna - about 295 miles to
run.
Very big rollers sweeping into the Bay - they look
very intimidating but gently lift the boat up 10m or so before gently depositing
her back down in the trough so no problems from them. Sails are up with intermittent motor assistance -
winds are light but at least now from a sensible NW direction.
Still no fishing and so no fish - we will get the
rods out when we get half way across the bay and a bit warmer.
