1120 miles to go. Tilly Mint munching up the miles.
Big Seas all night, swell 4 to 5 metres. We are surfing most of the rollers but
occassionally one catches us on the hind quarters and we corkscrew around until
Tilly Mint regains her composure. It's during those moments that the contents of
the boat re-arrange themselves, latest casualty was a box of eggs that leapt
from the fridge. Someone must have shouted "scramble"
Still getting 9 knots from the poled out blade gib
and reefed main and wind speeds between 20 and 30 knots all night
Not looking forward to trying to cook
today...!
