Rather a slow news day:

No whales
No dolphins
No fish
No lures lost

We did have a great sail though up from Bequia to Martinique. Just under 100 miles which took us about 11 1/2 hours so good progress. The sailing was fantastic between islands but compromised abit by the wind shadow cast by the mountains - all extinct volcanoes and some 5000 feet high.

We had a swim on arrival and saw Olivier swimming hard for the beach. We wondered whether he was missing France - Martinique is a department of France and a part of the EU. Either that or he wanted to find some cheese which didn't come already in slices.

All back on board now, and heading up to Guadeloupe, the famous butterfly shaped island tomorrow, before a short hop to Antigua on Monday.
