A jolly day out was had by all as Tilly Mint
glided effortlessly and elegantly around the Isle of Wight on her maiden voyage
- The 2009 Round The Island Race . We went very quickly when it was windy
and not so fast when it was not. There were
Maidens onboard, clever demonstrations of how easy it is not to spill your
coffee at the bow and the skipper was voted winner of the "Best
Looking Knees" competition. We completed the course in ?%&*$ hours and
45 minutes (looks like I lost the internet connection there for a moment)
and crossed the finishing line without damaging the paint work - the measure of
a successful race by anyone's standards!
