We finally got
a sailing wind late evening and by 2100 we were on a downwind
run albeit at about 4kts. The wind is now backed 180 so is from dead astern at F5. We are sailing on port gybe and heading slightly west of track. Currently doing about 6.5kts having made 125' yesterday. As there is a regatta on in Falmouth we have decided to make for Fowey where we should arrive during the course of Friday afternoon/evening. We have 276 miles to run. Fishing Notes: Mr Darcy pulled! Avid readers will remember he was used to try and attract unmarried fish looking for a fortune. Well he did at 1730, by 1930 the said tuna was featuring in the galley notes. Galley Notes: Tuna (fresh) in garlic butter. Kushty! All Well Onboard Susan Ayu Crew http://blog.mailasail.com/susanayu |
