589 miles to go Frustrating day when wind completely headed us shortly after noon and dropped to <6kts. After finding ourselves tacking several times on wind shifts as if it was a round the cans regatta I realised with the windward mark 650 miles away that "futile" was an apt description of the current tactics. So the Donk went on and we motored for 16 hours prior to picking up the forecasted winds we have at present. Winds now from ESE at 7-9 knots so close reaching towards Horta at 6 kts in clear skies.
