Sailed From Las Palmas at 1200 yesterday and all going
well.
Approx 100 miles south of Gran Canary and 72 miles west of
Cabo Bojador where Africa "proper" started for the Navigators in Prince Henry's
time.
Position
Speed Currently 6kts but averaging 5kts since
departure
Winds W'ly 3-4, blue skies and good
viz.
ETA probably end Jan.
No fishing activity to speak of but Dolphins around
at various times so prospects look good for when we do try.
Hopefully the boats Iridium connection is now
stable but if you do not receive a sitrep do not worry its most likely to be our
connection and we will call when we get to Antigua.
