A distance made
good of 129 miles for the day (5.4kts) was due to light winds
yesterday afternoon/evening. The wind has now picked up again but unfortunately from the NNE - F5 so we are hard on the wind and going slightly off track. However the wind will change in the next 24hrs backing west so hopefully we will pick up the direct line to home. Associated with the front we are in is mainly overcast weather. Saw Whales at distance of about 300 metres yesterday breaching, spectacular. Galley Notes: Sashimi and Cerviche at lunchtime. Sunday night chicken curry, Well done that Chef! Fishing notes: No lines set. As we come further north we will loose the survace feeders which we can troll for. We are going too fast to set lines for mid water fish.
