A hard rain's gonna fall?

Tropical storm Irene is now officially a category III hurricane battering the Bahamas and heading for the coast of North Carolina. A 120 hour forecast from the National Hurricane Center shows the coast of Maine has a ten percent probability of strong winds, storm surges and a lot of rain. We're not taking any chances and have backtracked our course for the snug anchorage at York Harbor. This will be our shelter for the next four days at least. We are tied up to a of heavy duty mooring buoy near the mouth of a river but hopefully far enough from the ocean to mitigate the effects of any major swells. We expect it to rain heavily on Sunday night but so far it's very cloudy, hot and humid with a threat of thunderstorms.
