At anchor, Rodney Bay St Lucia 22:00 Saturday Jan 8th.
We were welcomed by Danielle and Phil from the
yacht 'Sweet Surrender' with cold champagne and rum punch. Like every other
voyage, the last few hours seemed to go ever so slowly and we
spent mile after mile looking at the lights of St Lucia grow
slightly brighter. I had mixed feelings. Yes I wanted to get the anchor down and
have a nights' sleep without a wave rolling me out of bed. But the ocean during the last 48 hours was just fantastic;
a steady 18 knot breeze and following sea turned Passepartout into a fifteen ton
surfboard and it was a pity to bring it to an end.
