Like small ping pong balls bouncing around in a box , that's k what we
sometimes feel like. Mike and myself keep on bumping into each other as we
are so used to the "bigger" yachts. Conner seems to have got the knack of
moving around the boat without been to in the way. I watched Mike take three
stairs down from the fly bridge and thump his foot down as if there was one
more stair. Irritating , but we will get used to it quickly. We had a bit of
wind from aft ( behind ). Sails came out , and we managed to sail half the
day without the help of the engines. By nightfall the winds had become
fickle and highly erratic. I watched in awe this morning as the Albatross
came over to investigate the boat. Nothing in the world can match up to
watching these beautiful silent world wanders. With their massive wing span
, never a feather out of place and a permanent scowl , i am sure they are
always frowning at us in our little piece of Tupperware. We have passed
Cape Agulhas , the waters around this area are notorious for turning nasty
very quickly , so it always a pleasure to leave it in our wakes. We will
/have passed Mossle bay by Saturday morning and are heading up towards Port
Elizabeth. We are expecting a cold front to pass over us this evening and
will not head over the Agulhas current until it has passed.
