We are now a fleet of roughly 300 boats, representing around 20,000 people and the 4 of us are still alive: perfect people live longer than the ordinary lot. The day to day management of the fleet has been delegated to 2 of our great great great …. grand descendants, Vrizou Gamma 14 and Zaltor Beta 37 bis (we call him Totor to keep it brief). You will be pleased to know that we have become experts at fishing but Come is still in denial and still claims that he bought enough food for the trip. We have created a new society system from scratch. At the top of this society is the Port watch whose original members have been worshipped for generations. At the bottom of this society, you will find the generator mechanics who are still struggling to produce the level of energy we require and the laundry slaves who report to Matthieu. One full segment of our society is devoted to trading: we trade drinking water, fish, ropes and rigging both OTC and via futures exchanges. We run the compliance department: we get systematic approvals for brokers invitation and market manipulation is not punishable. Matthieu runs a floating disco/casino: he is the DJ and poker master. Come is in charge of promoting sailing holidays in the North western part of the ocean and it is no easy task in our current water environment. Philippe has established his own brand of skin care products and is rumored to make a fortune out of his sun creams. His revolutionary salt water spa concept is also taking off, albeit quite slowly.

All is great in this perfect new world but we have just been hit by the first signs of a fish flu pandemic (Come pretends that he always told us so) and we are now taking first steps to ensure that our Waterworld gets preserved from any new destruction: we are now building a space craft called Noeluna 2, the return of the Chosen Ones…
