Night therapy 2nd Dec 2300 UTC
Dear All, The wind has come down quite a bit today, so we had plenty
of time on our hands. We therefore decided to dig a bit further into
Come’s reluctance to eat fish and started a Group Therapy to help him
out. In fact, it looks as if Come, having been in charge of provisioning in Las
Palmas, is not ready to accept any form of external addition to what he
considers was exactly the right quantities for the trip. He sees our fishing
initiative as a clear betrayal and still cannot cope with it. He has agreed to
talk to us further about it and we have increased the dose of anti sea
sickness patches he uses as a precautionary measure in the meantime to keep him
sedated. We then tried to openly talk to Matthieu about our racing
performance so far, but he then started to get really excited as he explained
that we had a very good chance to break the Atlantic Crossing record should we
continue at the same pace. We felt a bit weak, so we told him that we were also
over the moon about this prospect… Philippe has found a new passion for surfing and he keeps
doing it behind the boat using a tow line. He now wears a bandana on his head
days and nights with a tee shirt whose motto says “ No brains, no headache!”
He says he is cool, yeah! As far as I am concerned, I really want to thank Stephane
for his medical kit and tell him that I particularly love the blue tablets at
the bottom left and that I would be really really grateful if he can send more
in St Lucia, much more actually, please, really, just more, quick. Happy sweet dreams from Noeluna |
