The gear we shipped ahead  to be in Newfoundland before we arrived finally came in came in today 10 days after we arrived!

Highly frustrating but now it is aboard and stowed away ready for our cast off tonight.

Our day started at 4 am in a borrowed pick up Harry and Eddie set off on a 4 hour drive to collect it. After the usual paperwork delays in picking up stuff from a transport company we were off and back aboard by 9pm!

We slip our lines from the dock in Lewisporte tomorrow at 2am and head out the harbour for the open sea.

This way we will arrive at the break of daylight as it is a 4 hour passage to the open sea and there is a lot of Ice about so we are need to have full visability for the first day.

We will steam East first to get out of the ice as fast as possible and then North to the Greenland Coast.
