Wednesday 10^th Sept Ramsgate

Little excursion to systems test – resulted in turning round as systems packed up!

 Pete writes: A day for testing things out. Stability of galley and pegboard, hoving to, relative sizes of staysail and trysail (?) and a bit of familiarisation for me, Sunshine, blue skies, 30 odd miles in total, wind up to 30 knots and a good day had by all (Mike, Kate, Jude and Pete)

Thursday 11^th to 2^nd March 2009 Ramsgate

Refit! Mike installed water maker, fans, solar panel, deck shower, Deckband, laptop, MP3 player and instrument alarm. He plumbed in the holding tank, applied the new name, sandwich toaster and fridge baskets installed. Kate re-upholstered and made cockpit cushions, bed bumpers, fitted sheets – all with new sewing machine! Mike installed the sat phone and we’ve got some new sails and loads of other new bits and pieces from the Soton Boat show, which we went to with Garry and Jude. He’s been persuaded to put pics up and make homely!
