We came back across yesterday so Guy and Ann could catch the early bus to the 7am flight home from another island.

For those denying sheep exist on Bordoy, look harder;  Ok I know that the blog photos are low resolution and you still will not see them.  We had started to suspect that there were none on the northern islands, the scale of the hills is large and you need to get close to see them.

When you are close the sheep are very varied in colour, black, white, red and grey.  The wool is no longer commercially used, they only eat them.

The parasitic skua is another name for the arctic skua.  Guy's book calls them parasitic and mine arctic.
We had taken Guy's book up the hill on the day we were mobbed by them.  The latin names are the same and since parasitic is the french and american version I will stick to arctic.

I am off to fetch gas for the Iceland leg.
