Came up from Gigha in proper sailing weather today.

North easterly with 3 reefs and rain to start with, but we kept under the shore, among the rocky little islands up the Sound of Jura so the waves were small.  The rain soon stopped and the tide helped all the way.

Through this race, Dorus Mor, there was 5 knots of tide helping us, wait for the Faroes where you can get 12 knots.

The sun came out as we motored into Puilladobhrain (7 miles south of Oban).
Pub grub tonight if they let us in.
