We came back to Isafjordur again last night, for Lorna to catch tomorrow's flights to Reykjarvik and Glasgow.  As it was windy we moved from the pontoon berth we used last time, where all the boats were bouncing vigorously.  Alongside the quay our mooring ropes were a little short at low tide.  Creaking ropes and fenders woke me at 3:30 am:  Going out to lengthen them was rewarded with this dawn.

I have achieved my ambition of signing up a young blonde lady for the trip across to Greenland and Canada.  The lack of concern expressed by Lorna, is because her boyfriend is coming too.  They are a young Estonian couple on a world eco tour.  Telling them that we live in a Cumbrian mud hut is nearly true, we do have three clay walls in Thurstonfield.  Sailing across to the Canada is more eco friendly than flying, but perhaps the cargo of tins reduces the difference.

Trial sails down the west of Iceland will determine whether they really want to come; it is a big undertaking for non-sailors.
Their website is http://pohlad.ee/who/, their blog is in Estonian.  Let me know if you can figure out what it says.
